My thought's of Jiah Khan's death - Short Blog

On June 3rd, Jiah only 25 years old, was found hanging in her Juhu apartment. She was born in New York, USA and brought up in the U.K. She was an aspiring actress, model and singer who made her Bollywood debut in the film Nishabd. From what I have heard and read..she was driven to depression by her boyfriend Suraj Pancholi, who she also was pregnant with. Her family have recenlty released a suicide note stating this fact and many other facts.

On the 6 page note she states he abused her physically and mentally, shattered her dreams and forced her to give up their baby. My thoughts of Jiah is that you were a clever person, had high grades throughout your academic life, surely a boyfriend could not have affected you to the point of killing yourself.

There are many questions to be answered but unfortunately this is not possible as the answerer is no more... Jiah had so much going for her but she chose ending her life as her destiny. I hope her boyfriend rots in jail or whatever and regretts to what he has done to this poor, vulnerable soul. Suicide is a sin in Isam but I wish to Allah that he has mercy for her and keeps her a place in Heaven.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Jiah Khan's mother explains her suicide more in detail in this clip:

Heer, Jab Tak Hai Jaan - translation and meaning of the song

There are many versions to the stories of Heer-Ranjha and Mirza-Sahiba but I will discuss the versions that are frequently told.

In Heer-Ranjha, Ranjha leaves home after quarrelling with his brothers and arrives in Heer's village, where he instantly falls in love with Heer and Heer falls in love with Ranjha. Heer's parent's are told by Heer's evil uncle Kaido...that they have been secretly meeting together...this makes Heer's parents to force Heer into marrying someone else from their own clan. Ranjha converts to Heer's religon and returns to Heer's village for a marriage proposal, Heer's parents accept and the wedding begins. Unfortunately Kaido poisons a ladoo tha is given to Heer and she eventually dies on the day of her wedding before the ceremony begins...Ranjha takes the ladoo and kills himself...resting beside Heer.

Simillarly in Mirza-Sahiba both characters are of different Clans, Mirza is sent by his family to  relatives house near Sahiba's village to study. Mirza meets Sahiba upon arrivng and instantly falls in love with her and so does Sahiba. However, Sahiba's parents have already arranged a marriage between her and a suitor of their choice and so it is impossible for her to be with Mirza. Sahiba sends a letter to Mirza but Mirza's sister asks him not to try to rescue Sahiban, as it is the day of her own wedding and she wants her brother to be there. Mirza is informed by his family that her brother's will also come after him if he tries to take Sahiba their sister. Mirza inafatuated in Sahiba's love pays no heed, leaves his sister's wedding and takes Sahiba away on a horse to be live happily ever after. Ironically in the song, the girl wants to be called Sahiba instead of Heer, even though Mirza and Sahiba die at the end of story due to Mirza being found and killed by Sahiba's brothers and Sahiba then killing herself.

Heer Heer na akho odiyo, Main te Sahiba hoye,
Ghodi leke aaye le jaaye, Ghodi leke aaye le jaaye,
Le jaaye Mirza koi, Le jaaye Mirza koi,

Don't call me Heer, o' companions, I'm Sahiba.
I hope he comes on a horse and takes me away,
I wish some Mirza comes for me and takes me away

Ohde je hi main te oh mere warga,
hansda ae sajra sawere varga,
ankha bandh kar la te thande hanere varga

I am like him, he is like me only..
He smiles like it's morning,
and if he closes eyes, it's like cold dark..

ohde je hi main te o Mirza mere varga
Naal naal tur na te vith rakhna
hadd rakh lena wich dil rakhna,
chhanve chhanve paawe assi teri parchhawe tur na

walk close with me only, don't keep any distance in between,
mark a boundary, and keep the heart in between.
I have to walk under your shade only.

Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Cocktail - Romanisation Lyrics :)

Yaara Tere Sadke Ishq Sikha Main Toh
Aayi Jag Taj Ke Ishq Sikha
Jab Yaar Kare Parwah Meri
Mujhe Kya Parwah Iss Duniya Ki
Jag Mujhpe Lagaaye Paabandi
Main Hoon Hi Nahi Iss Duniya Ki
O friend, I'm all yours, teach me to love,
I've left the world and come, teach me love..
When my companion cares for me,
Why should I care for the world..
The world puts bans on me,
I don't belong to this world..

Tumhi Din Chadhe, Tumhi Din Dhale
Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi
Every time every minute all the day
Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi

You in the morning, you in the evening,
you're the kin, you only are the friend..
Every time every minute of the day
you're the kin, you only are the friend..

Dil Ki Takhti Par Hoon Likhti
Ishqaa.. Ishqaa
Jag Kya Jaane Dil Ko Mere
Ishqaa.. kiskaa
Lag Yaar Gale Le Saar Meri
Mujhe Kya Parwah Iss Duniya Ki
Tu Jeet Meri, Jag Haar Meri
Main Hoon Hi Nahi Iss Duniya Ki

On the heart's slate I write,
Love.. Love.
What does the world know my heart feels
Love.. for whom..
Beloved, hug me and ask my well being
What do I care about the world
You're my victory, the world is my loss,
I don't belong to this world..

Bann ke chaahat nazron se khat
likhna.. likhna
Tu hai jaisa mujhko waisa
Dikhna.. dikhna
De sabak sarooron ka saaki
Mujhe kya parwaah iss duniya ki
Tu paas mere jag paas mere
Main hoon hi nahi iss duniya ki

I have to become love and write letters
with eyes.. have to write..
The way you look, I have to look like that,
have to look like that..
The cup-bearer of passions gives me lesson,
what do I care about the world..
You're with me, (my) world is with me,
I don't belong to this world..

Tumhi Din Chadhe, Tumhi Din Dhale
Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi..

The beginning of a fun-filled journey of the gossip of the South Asian Entertainment! industry!

This blog is dedicated to anyone wanting to indulge themselves in some gossip of the south Asian entertainment! I am myself a teenager of the South-Asian community. I'm just a guy who loves the Indian entertainment industry :)

A bit about me: xD
I am at my first year of college, struggling between the present and the future, Who am I? and What can I do in the future?

I recently had a blog about my life and it was successful for a few months, until unfortunately my exams had taken-over and I had to neglect the blog.

...but now that I am in College, life is 10x harder...but funnily enough there's a hell lot of free time. So instead of lying around at home, spending countless hours watching crap on TV! I was thinking one day to start a blog up and funnily enough it hit me when my mum was watching her favourite shows on Star plus LOL!, and an advertisement had come up on a film.

I was hugely disgusted about how this film had portrayed filth! My Family and I, always enjoy watching a Bollywood film every week, last time we had watched Dabangg 2 and it was a sensational film... This film trailer that was advertising was just disgusting and I had thought that WOW, what ahs the indian film industry turned into, what happened to MODESTY!, yes we live in a modern/westernised society whatever you call it... but there should be a certain degree of respect!

I, myself love Bollywood films, personal favourites include of K3G, Devdas and Student of the Year. LOL yes these are very 'filmi' but I also enjoy action films.

..but yes, so whilst sitting there on my Sofa, Something clicked on my had that maybe I should go back into my blogging days, but this time as a blogger of films, don't matter of any gender or age, but I am a teenager, keep in mind :), I may not be as sophisticated as many famous film critics in writing.. but will hope to try hard in getting as much as I can from the South Asian Entertainment.

Please follow me on this Journey.. Check my blogs out if you're bored or want some fun!

Adios guys!
